Founder and President of Lasting Impression I, Inc. Darlene P. Story, had a vision that one day she would develop a product that would provide men, women and children a healthier alternative in camouflage makeup. In 1996, wax and oil based camouflage products dominated the market but these left a heavy cakey feeling on the skin and clogging pores opening the door for additional skin problems. While those products served a purpose and the means to camouflage, there had to be another alternative to provide full coverage yet allow the skin to breathe and continue to be healthy. That answer came when the idea was spawned to develop one of the first water base and water resistant camouflage makeup products. Hence, Concealing Systems™ was born to provide a healthier camouflage alternative for Post Laser Patients, Scars, Burns and Vitiligo with a premise built on Silicone Technology, natural sunscreens and added anti-oxidants to promote skin healing while it concealed. In working with renowned Plastic Surgeons and Dermatologists during clinical studies both physicians and Patients were amazed at how Concealing Systems™ provided the protection their sensitive skin needed during the healing process while providing full coverage of the affected area. The success of the clinical studies proved that Concealing Systems was not just a healing camouflage cream, that it was much more. It gave people confidence to return to work and go about their daily lives. Over the next few years, Makeup Artists began using Concealing Systems on Celebrities for photo shoots, bridal occasions, and tattoo coverage. Today it is distributed world-wide to Makeup Artists, Salons, Spas and, Medical Practitioners.
