LaserLeap Technologies was founded to address the need for a painless method of delivering drugs through the skin and to promote faster, more effective treatments. Two decades of research with lasers and ultrasound resulted in technology that combines affordable lasers with innovative materials capable of making our skin permeable to drugs and cosmetics in a safe, painless, and effective manner. LaserLeap opened for business in 2011, in Coimbra, Portugal, focused in the development of a method for permeating skin and allow the delivery of cosmetics and drugs, along with anesthetics, skin cancer drugs, vaccines and biotechnology drugs.
