At Laser Away, we have been providing specific treatment for veins for 10 years. Dr. Gilles Pinette has been working in family medicine and emergency medicine for over 15 years and has been treating varicose veins and their complications during that time. For the last 10 years, he has focused his practice on aesthetic medicine and phlebology (the management of vein disease). He has trained on all techniques of vein management and has chosen the most successful of these techniques to offer to his patients. He has completed a fellowship in phlebology through the Canadian Society of Phlebology and continues to attend the advanced Vein Summits throughout North America every year. At Laser Away, Dr Pinette and his team have treated thousands of patients with vein disease and have done tens of thousands of injections and other vein treatments. Lynn is our Nurse Injector. Prior to focusing her career on phlebology, she worked in emergency medicine and on the home IV (intravenous) team where she has handled all nature of venous disease, regular nursing duties, emergencies, and started and maintained thousands of IV treatments. Lynn trained in sclerotherapy and other vein procedures with Dr Pinette. Lynn is also a member of the Canadian Society of Phlebology and has been attending annual conferences with the Society. Leanne is our Nurse Injector. Leanne has worked in aesthetic medicine for many years and has completed training in sclerotherapy and other vein procedures with Dr Pinette. Leanne is a member of the Canadian Society of Phlebology and has attended the annual conference with the Society. Jacki is our Vein Clinic Support Staff. She is often the first and last face you see at our Vein Clinic. She will happily assist you in getting your appointments set up, advising you on proper preparation and post-care, provide vein and treatment education where required, and is the point person to take care of all your compression stocking needs.
