In July, 2013 Larry started his own DME & IT consulting business. Larry provides professional consulting services related to digital & multimedia evidence (DME), telecommunications, networking, and more. He is a Certified Digital & Multimedia Evidence Analyst with nearly 15 years experience in the field, and is considered by many an industry leading expert in the acquisition, processing, and presentation of DME. Mr. Compton is also a highly regarded DME instructor, and has been sharing his expertise by teaching DME and IT related topics to law enforcement, technicians, analysts, and attorneys since 1998. Mr. Compton continues to provide training and lectures to local, state, federal, and international organizations and agencies. Additionally, Larry designs, develops, and implements innovative technology solutions for government and private industry organizations of all sizes. He has managed multi-agency, multi-million dollar technology projects and specializes in improving processes and efficiency all while maintaining or reducing related expense. Larry is currently developing a new secure online portal for DME technicians and analysts, as well as a Patent Pending multimedia evidence related solution.
