The company was founded in 1957 by Oskar Lapp with the invention of ÖLFLEX®, the first industrially produced flexible control cable in the world. LAPP currently produces cables and accessories for connectorization (connectors, cable glands, etc.) for different industries and markets: machine construction, process automation, the automotive industry, electrical engineering and installations, renewable energies and many more. We supply more than 50.000 standard items that we have in stock. We also develop and produce cables and solutions according to our customers' specifications. LAPP has 27 own production plants, 5.700 employees, 43 subsidiaries around the world and more than 80 national distributors where there is no direct presence. LAPP has a warehouse in Spain to supply the most requested references quickly, as well as a commercial network that serves our customers.
