LAPD Devonshire Police Activity League Supporters Information

LAPD Devonshire PALS builds character and enriches the lives of children and teens by offering year-round activities that foster trust and understanding between young people, the LAPD, and the community. Since 1973, LAPD Devonshire PALS has forged a partnership between the LAPD and community leaders in an effort to reduce juvenile crime, prevent gang activity and build character in young children and teens. We are recognized as a local neighborhood 501(c)(3) non-profit. LAPD Devonshire PALS offers after-school enrichment programs with LAPD officers working directly with the kids as coaches, counselors, and tutors. LAPD Devonshire PALS promotes trust and understanding between young people and police officers. Our programs are based on the conviction that LAPD Devonshire PALS is here to serve all the youth of Council District 12 and its surrounding neighborhoods to develop strong, positive attitudes toward law enforcement.
