SICIS manufactures high-end contemporary mosaic for wall and floor coverings, furniture and interior decorations. SICIS started in 1987, quickly becoming a leader in its sector. The focus is on technology and know‐how in order to develop excellent products with an inimitable style, combining Italian creativity & style, and matching a deep awareness of materials with a desire to experiment. SICIS specializes in the artistic mosaic technique, in which every single tesserae is cut and placed by hand by skillful mosaic masters in Ravenna. Over the years, the company has been able to evolve, broadening its creative horizon well beyond mosaic. Thus was born the division of Vetrite surfaces, a revolutionary glass, capable of transforming walls, floors and furnishings into real works of design, with the same attention to detail that has always characterized SICIS. This evolution led to the creation of an integrated Total Look concept. A unique approach in which mosaics, Vetrite surfaces and furnishings blend harmoniously to create personalized and distinctive spaces. Somos un equipo pluridisciplinar, fundamentalmente de arquitectos, enamorados de la arquitectura y de nuestro planeta. Nos hemos especializado en diseñar y construir buena arquitectura con el menor impacto en nuestra gran casa común, la tierra. Hemos construido piscinas, polideportivos y viviendas sostenibles. Gracias a un edificio de instalaciones en Gamarra, nos han galardonado con el premio nacional de sostenibilidad. Las viviendas de Bermeo han sido construidas buscando el mayor ahorro energético, adaptándose al lugar, actuando de la misma forma que la arquitectura vernícula, pero aprovechando la tecnología actual. Hemos colaborado con el Gobierno Vasco (IHOBE) en la valoración de los residuos de demolición y construcción. Hemos escrito un libro ´Miradores´ sobre el mirador como elemento instructivo característico de nuestra ciudad Vitoria-Gasteiz, cuyo comportamiento es muy sostenible, ya que es un captador solar. Colaboramos en la publicación del libro sobre el arquitecto Olaguibel, autor del proyecto que mejor une en el mundo un casco medieval con un ensanche del siglo XIX. Nuestra forma de trabajar busca la calidad en el trabajo bien hecho, con ilusión, apoyado en el ecodiseño. Primero analizamos el lugar, su clima, su forma de construir. Hacemos maquetas, con modelos climáticos, con el objeto de proyectar el mejor edificio respetando la naturaleza.
