LANY is a fashion handbag brand for free-thinking, trendsetting individuals. In 1989, founders Robert and Jane started a small boutique in the bustling fashion grounds of Downtown, Los Angeles. The duo took on every challenge together--from keeping an eye on the ever-changing trends,designing all that's new, sifting through mountains of color swatches and fabrics, seeking manufacturers all throughout the United States and beyond, organizing and completing all things fulfillment, and most importantly satisfying the customers' fashion necessities. In 1991, the company became a corporation under Samdae Enterprises, Inc.,and three years later LANY was born. Still situated in the heart of DTLA, LANY has grown to become known throughout the United States for its fashion-driven, affordable yet uncompromising quality handbags. LANY stands for Los Angeles New York, which means we seek out trends from coast to coast--high and low, far and wide-- and make sure we fulfill those fashion handbag wants/needs for our LANY individuals.
