Lansdowne Information

Pennsylvania's Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) has made a 5-year funding commitment to the Lansdowne-Yeadon Elm Street Program, operating under the umbrella of the Lansdowne Economic Development Corporation (LEDC), a local 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. DCED selected our neighborhood based on its capacity for revitalization, investment of local community organizers, and proximity to Lansdowne's Main Street Program, also run by LEDC. Through the Lansdowne-Yeadon Elm Street Program, LEDC is working together with the Boroughs of Lansdowne and Yeadon to partner on revitalization projects with stakeholders such as civic groups, regional businesses and institutions, and neighborhood residents. Through the Lansdowne-Yeadon Elm Street Program's Neighborhood Advisory Committee, appointees from the Boroughs and neighborhood provide oversight and recommendations on project implementation.
