Lansdowne Children's Centre Foundation Information

Lansdowne Children's Centre is a Treatment Centre for children and youth with physical, developmental or communication needs. We provide specialized care and services to more than 2600 children and youth and their families annually from birth to 19 years. Their special needs may arise from Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Down Syndrome, Brain Injury, Muscular Dystrophy, Autism and other developmental delays. We offer a wide range of quality, compassionate services at the Centre, in home, in schools and other community settings that provide essential supports and play an important role in enabling our children and youth with special needs to develop to their full potential and have and enjoy opportunities to fully participate in every day activities. Lansdowne Children's Centre Foundation was established in response to the growing need to support the care and development of children and youth living with special needs in our communities. It is the mission of the Foundation to support the Centre by raising public awareness and the necessary funds to help children and youth with special needs and their families realize optimal potential.
