Language Beans Information

Language Beans is an art- and play-based Mandarin program. Our mission is to nurture children's artistic and creative minds through Mandarin language and culture immersion curriculum. At Language Beans, we value creativity and cross-cultural understanding in our curriculum while Mandarin is our language tool for communication and expression. We are deeply influenced by the Flow Theory (Micaly Csikszentmihalyi) and the Scaffolding Theory (Lev Vygotsky), which believe that learning occurs when children fully engage in creative, fun but also challenging tasks. We also embrace the spirit of the Reggio Emilia Approach & Music Learning Theory (Edwin Gordon) to design a sequential, artistic and creative curriculum for children to grow in.
