Langham Product is a product development and inventing company formed by Simon Langham in 2015. We help our clients around the world to grow through clever strategic thinking and development of ground breaking products. There are many hurdles to clear when bringing a product to market and having a strong understanding of all the factors which determine success is pivotal. Setting the Brief Identifying the opportunity, setting the design brief is the single most important factor in determining the success of a product. We pay particular attention to this initial stage; What is the insight? What consumer frustration is being solved? Do consumers want the product we are going to design? When these things are clear then the Design Brief can be determined and products are quicker and more cost effective to develop. The marketing is also more impactful and consumers embrace the product. This definition must happen early in development to ensure commercial success.
