The Centre Party has a strong confidence in human will and the ability to take responsibility and be a participant in society. To be able to decide for oneself, quality of life, equal opportunity and business are values that distinguish the Centre Party policy. We prioritize work and business activity: Sweden shall be one of the countries in the world where the conditions for starting and running a company are the best. It is important to us that it becomes more profitable and less complicated to be a company owner. We would like it to be easier to employ persons and that those who work shall retain more of their salary. Environment: In the future it must be possible for us to swim in our seas and oceans, breath fresh air and enjoy nature. Climate changes must be taken seriously. The Centre Party would like new cars to be able to run on alternative fuel. We would like the food we produce to be healthy and safe and that it should be easier to buy environmentally friendly products. Simply put: it should be profitable to protect our nature. A renewed welfare: The Centre Party would like you to be able to decide more over your daily life. It should be possible to choose healthcare, welfare and school. The family should be able to choose which type of childcare the would like to have. No child should leave school without basic reading, mathematics and writing skills. All of the elderly should be able to decide for themselves how they wish to live and what they need help with. The open community: Sweden shall have an open and welcoming attitude towards the surrounding world. We take a distinct position concerning openness and freedom. We take this position in order to counteract racism and foreign hostility. In a society with increased supervision we would like to stand up for personal integrity.
