Lamieux Electronics provides Low Pressure Molding solutions for electronic component protection, from initial prototype validation to mass production. Instead of supplying only one part of the process, we combine LPM equipment, mold design and manufacturing, material selection, contract molding and engineering support. Our solutions are widely used for PCB protection, connector overmolding, cable assemblies, sensors, automotive electronics, industrial electronics and other applications requiring sealing, waterproofing, electrical insulation or strain relief. Lamieux develops and manufactures its own LM series Low Pressure Molding machines and provides customized mold design and manufacturing. For molding materials, we offer our own Polymelt range as well as materials from Bostik Thermelt, Henkel Technomelt and Sipol. For new projects, our engineering team can support 3D file review, DFM analysis, cavity and gate evaluation, material selection, mold trials and cycle-time optimization. Our goal is simple: Help customers build a stable and practical Low Pressure Molding process that can move from testing to real production.
