Delta Sigma Theta Sorority is a private, non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. Founded on January 13, 1913 by twenty-two collegiate women at Howard University, the Sorority is currently a sisterhood of more than 200,000 predominately Black college educated women. This includes over 900 chapters located in the United States, England, Japan (Tokyo and Okinawa), Germany, the Virgin Islands, Bermuda, the Bahamas and the Republic of Korea. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (AKA) is an international service organization that was founded on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. in 1908. It is the oldest Greek-letter organization established by African-American college-educated women. Alpha Kappa Alpha is comprised of more than 300,000 members in more than 1000 graduate and undergraduate chapters in the United States, Liberia, the Bahamas, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Germany, South Korea, Bermuda, Japan, Canada, and South Africa. Led by International President & CEO Danette Anthony Reed, Alpha Kappa Alpha is often hailed as “America’s premier Greek-letter organization for African-American women.”

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity is a 501(c)7 non-profit organization. Founded in the year 1906, it is the nation’s first and oldest intercollegiate Greek-letter organization for established for African American college men. The fraternity has over 700 chapters that span all across the United States, the Bahamas, Germany, London, South Africa and South Korea. Mission Statement Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc develops leaders, promotes brotherhood and academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for our communities. Special Projects Alpha Phi Alpha's Special Projects are programs and activities that are sustained through collaborative efforts, memoranda of understanding, and/or outside financial assistance.
