We partner with growing companies to provide capital and strategic support. Lakewood is a multi-stage investment firm focused on making venture capital and growth equity investments in West Coast-based businesses that operate in the technology sector. Our target initial investment size is $1 to $10 million, but we have the flexibility and experience to complete significantly larger transactions. Although we have a track record of success as investors, our DNA is much more operational in nature than it is financial. As a result, we strongly prefer investment opportunities where we see an attractive fit for a hands-on, collaborative partnership with management. In working with our portfolio companies, we seek to leverage our extensive network of relationships whenever possible. Our team is comprised of members with decades of operating, commercialization and investment experience gained from diverse backgrounds in industry, finance, research & development and advanced technology. Lakewood does not have a traditional fund structure and sources capital to complete investments on a deal-by-deal basis. Our investors consist of a group of high-net-worth families and institutions, all of which represent longstanding relationships. We have office locations in Los Angeles, Silicon Valley and Atlanta.
