Lakeside Books is owned by the Blaine family of Coloma, Michigan. A true grass roots effort, Lakeside Books was started as Ambis Enterprises in 2008, an online hobby in a small room out of our basement. We quickly outgrew our own space, and opened our doors as a small new & used bookstore in May 2010, across from the LOMA Theater in downtown Coloma. Six months later, we expanded our venture, by launching a second location inside The Orchards Mall, Benton Harbor. In the Spring of 2012, our internet growth persuaded us to consolidate our efforts to residing only inside The Orchards Mall while expanding our online presence with an additional warehouse operation. With an explosion of E-Commerce growth, we realigned once again in 2014, closing our Mall store, and going entirely online. We've purchased a small warehouse at 3247 Territorial Rd. in Benton Harbor, and look forward to making it Lakeside's "Forever Home!"
