For 40 years, Camp Sunshine has provided hope, joy and community through unique experiences for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. At our pristine campus on Sebago Lake in Maine, more than 60,000 children, siblings, parents, and caregivers from all 50 states and 27 countries have come together for fun-filled, year-round sessions with families just like theirs. And, thanks to the incredible support of donors and volunteers, our programs are 100% free. Camp Sunshine is where families can focus on recharging, together, in a safe space with medical support available. Camp Sunshine is where families discover a community who understands. Camp Sunshine is where families find family. Learn more: www.campsunshine.org.
Camp Janus is a unique recreational, therapeutic, and educational opportunity for children and young adults (ages 5-18) who have recovered or are recovering from burns. Our mission is to offer burn survivors life skills helpful in handling the unique challenges of their individual, lifelong recovery. We promote an environment where burn survivors can become the best versions of themselves possible, where they can thrive in today's world, and where they can continually go Beyond Barriers. The Camp Janus weekend is completely free for the campers including local transportation from Houston and Galveston.
Camp Phoenix is a fun-filled, justice-centered program that is intentional about empowering teens from historically marginalized communities and reconnecting them to nature so they can become the leaders our community—and our planet—needs.
Our three-week, overnight summer camp blends the fun of sleepaway camp with the rigor of exploratory learning to propel middle school students into the next school year and beyond. Throughout the year, we guide teens on weekend trips throughout the Bay Area to expose them even more to what Mother Nature has to offer.
We have served more than 600 campers since 2012, and we strive to bring joy, love and opportunity to everyone who joins the flock.
