LGSA was chartered in 1952 by a dedicated group of local citizens. The Association is managed by a Board of Directors representative of the Lake George community. Since 1953, over 933 students have received scholarships totaling nearly $844,200. Due to the generosity of our donors, 513 awards have been made since 1995, averaging $1,398 each. LGSA Mission Statement: To raise funds that will provide for scholarships to graduates of Lake George High School pursuing a higher education. The Board of Directors selects recipients each year based on merit, financial need and community service.
