Lake Forest Library Information

Welcome to our LinkedIn Company page! We are here to offer information about resources and services to our local business community and the general public. Lake Forest is home to many entrepreneurs and small to medium sized businesses. Our resources can be of great value to businesses and consumers. If you're not a Lake Forest resident, there's still a good chance that your home library will offer similar resources. The Lake Forest Library serves the Lake Forest, Illinois community. Our beautiful, historical building is located thirty miles north of Chicago on Lake Michigan. The library was chartered on July 4, 1898 and opened on the second floor of the new city hall on June 24, 1899. It moved to its current location in 1931. We host events and programs to educate, entertain and inspire the community. We offer books, ebooks, audiobooks, movies, music, databases, training software, and a Media Lab to residents of Lake Forest and it's surrounding communities.
