Lakato was established in 1987 and has become the leading supplier to Veterinary practices and Veterinarian owned retail outlets throughout South Africa and Southern Africa. n addition to traditional wholesaling, Lakato provides Warehousing and Distribution services to suppliers in the Animal Health Industry. Lakato has branches located in major centres throughout-South Africa namely; Johannesburg in Gauteng, Cape Town in the Western Cape, Pietermaritzburg in Kwazulu Natal and Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape Customers located within the metropolitan boundaries of our branches are supplied on a same day basis, whilst customers in outlying areas and beyond the borders of South Africa are supplied on a next day to 72 hour basis.
