This organization represents hard working, dedicated men and women that are committed to building strong structures and strong communities. Local 500 represents over a thousand members working in the Building Trades Construction Industry. We are skilled in the placement and removal of concrete, brick mason tenders, demolition, asbestos removal, grade checking, flagging, carpenter tenders, hazardous waste removal, tunneling and much more. Currently, we service Lucas, Wood, Defiance, Fulton, Henry and Williams Counties in Ohio. We work throughout the state of Ohio under the Heavy Highway Agreement administered by the Ohio Laborers District Council. Our mission is to create and retain jobs, train our workforce to not just be the most efficient and productive construction worker but the most efficient and productive worker on the entire job site. We want to be every contractors preferred and desired workforce. We strive to be actively engaged in political and community affairs directly affecting our membership and the communities we live and service.
