The Bagó Group is one of the major Argentine organizations with a strong presence in several Latin American countries. Quimica Montpellier - a pharmaceutical company- joined the Group in 1976. It is an outstanding example of continuous growth. Two years later (1978) Instituto San Jorge- Bagó became part of the Group. It is a manufacturer of pharmaceutical veterinary products, and biological products. Disprofarma - a national distributor of medicines - has been founded mainly aimed at enhancing the presence of Bagó products in the Argentine and Latin American market. In 1977, the Group acquired Victoria Seguros - an insurance company. Finally, in 1995, Nutricia- Bagó - until then a special department of Laboratorios Bagó - became a legally independent entity, devoted to specialized nutrition
