'A laboratory for sensorial and cognitive discovery'. LABO is a creative agency and digital publication based in Sydney, Australia that focuses on culture, design, style, art and its permutations. LABO advocates a culture of finer inspection. We are a collective that seeks to navigate quality articles and objects, as well as the ideas that underpin such, believing unequivocally that meaningfully examining the oft-overlooked enriches us and improves our lives. Our purpose is not merely to inquire; rather, it is through our methodical deconstruction of form, function and process that we are able to consider the abstractions that lie behind the everyday. Behind each body of work is a lens of consideration, quality and timelessness. We are continuously seeking, uncovering, discovering, deeper truths and connections. We take the overlooked in relation to culture, style and design and put it under the microscope to discover essences, nuances and universalities that have yet to be discovered.
