LabForInvention Corp — Advancing Energy-Efficient Windows with Wireless Connectivity. We are a Silicon Valley technology company pioneering next-generation signal-penetrating Low-E window technology that combines energy efficiency, high visible-light transmission, and strong wireless connectivity. Our mission is to use science and heart to drive innovation that benefits people and society. Guided by this mission, we are developing a new generation of low-E windows that addresses a major limitation of conventional energy-efficient glass. While traditional low-E coatings reduce building energy consumption, they can also significantly weaken cellular, 5G, Wi-Fi, and other wireless signals. LabForInvention’s signal-penetrating low-E technology is designed to overcome this tradeoff while remaining compatible with scalable and cost-effective glass manufacturing. Our vision is that future windows should not force people to choose between energy efficiency and connectivity. High-performance windows should provide both—and should be affordable enough for broad adoption in homes, offices, vehicles, and smart buildings worldwide. Supported by NSF SBIR Phase I and Phase II awards, LabForInvention is advancing this technology from scientific research toward manufacturing scale-up, industry validation, and commercialization.
