We support thousands of government buildings, thousands of pieces of equipment by responding to tens of thousands of work orders per year, and purchasing millions of dollars of parts annually while significantly exceeding service level requirements. We excel in information assurance and have a track record of successfully obtaining authority to operate (ATO) for challenging applications. Spectrum Technologies has been at the forefront of laser wire processing technology for over 35 years; developing and applying leading edge technology to provide solutions to problems in advanced manufacturing, and pioneering the use of laser technology to solve a range of issues. Established in 1989 as a spin out from BAE Systems’ Advanced Technology Centre, Spectrum was the pioneer behind the commercialisation of UV laser wire marking technology within the aerospace industry. The UV laser marking process is now the global industry standard for the identification of aerospace wire and cable. Following the original development of laser wire stripping by NASA in 1979, laser wire stripping was actually commercialised and developed further by Spectrum Technologies also.
