For us, hammocks are more than just a product or a place to lay—they're a way of life. We truly believe that laying in a hammock even for just a few minutes a day significantly improves your quality of life. In today's fast-paced, digitally-connected, always-on world, you can never have too many excuses to steal a moment of peace. At LA SIESTA, we also see hammocks for what they truly are and have always been: a South American national treasure, a cultural tradition that should not only be preserved but spread. This is why all of our hammocks are manufactured in the country from which that hammock style originated. LA SIESTA never intentionally set out to be sustainable and responsible, it's just who we are, and who we've always been. When the founders instilled those values into the brand's DNA back in '91, "sustainability" and "social responsibility" were not in vogue or buzzwords.
