HARMONY: Atlanta's International Youth Chorus offers young people, ages six to 18, from diverse racial, cultural, religious and socio-economic backgrounds the opportunity to develop teamwork, tolerance and mutual respect as they strive for musical excellence. Together, we sing international music of varying styles and periods, and in 37 different languages. HARMONY has performed jazz, gospel, plain song chant, pop, classical, modern and many other musical styles. We sing in unison, and in two-, three-, and four-part harmonies, taking advantage of the vocal range of our singers - from the highest sopranos to the deepest basses. Our specialty, by-invitation group "Ensemble," is comprised of older, more experienced and musically advanced singers. All HARMONY singers are known for their energy, diversity, sign language and choral movement.
