La Junta Economic Development Information

La Junta Economic Development provides consulting and business development services to enhance economic development for the city and to support the growth and expansion of existing businesses. La Junta Economic Development is located in the SCORE Center on the Otero Junior College campus. LJED is involved with marketing La Junta to prospective businesses that may want to relocate or expand a business here. LJED works with the chamber of commerce to better support our small businesses. LJED knows that developing a strong workforce is important to long-term economic growth and is a member of the Southeast Colorado Workforce Investment Board. LJED also works closely with the local manufacturing groups to ensure that they will have the tools and resources that they need to continue to grow and be successful.
