La Cachette is an authentically French restaurant based in Elland, West Yorkshire. Headed up by Head Chef Glenn Futter (left), we pride ourselves in creating delicious French food for you to enjoy time and time again. Our bistrot style French restaurant (whose name translates as 'the hiding place') opened in 1996, and we relocated to our current site at 31 Huddersfield Road in 2002. Located in the heart of Elland, we aim to bring a touch of French flair to the West Yorkshire dining scene, and as a result have been rated four stars in the Harden's UK restaurant survey for 2015. We're also pleased that our French delights were recognised by The Sunday Times, where we were featured as one of their top restaurants for £20 per head in the same year. All of our French cuisine is created in house by our team of chefs, and we are committed to sourcing and using the best local and organic ingredients that enable us to create tasty French classics whilst supporting independent suppliers. When it comes to drinks, our food menu is complemented by a bold and comprehensive selection of fine French and new world wines. In fact, our wine collection is also one of the most extensive in Calderdale with over 100 different wines to choose from. From good quality house wines to magnums of premium champagnes; there's something for every taste.
