We are transparent in our reporting process, putting a value on providing context while pushing for truth. On September 12th, 1971, KVUE signed on as Austin’s first full time ABC affiliate. Today, over 75 journalists work in the stations broadcast and digital departments. KVUE has a long history of delivering impactful journalism, from law-changing investigations lead by their Defenders team, to Boomtown, a series dedicated to the rapid growth and affordability in Austin. Their work has been recognized with numerous Lonestar Emmy, National Press Photographer’s Association and Edward R. Murrow awards.
