KVB-Enertec Information

KVB-Enertec is a privately-owned business incorporated in the state of Pennsylvania in 1977. In 1987, KVB-Enertec entered into the Continuous Emissions Monitoring (CEM) marketplace by developing a personal computer based Data Acquisition System (DAS) which generates air pollutant emissions reports that comply with Federal and State Environmental Protection Agency regulations. Not only does KVB-Enertec sell CEM based data acquisition systems, KVB-Enertec also provides complete CEM system integration services. This includes integration of all analytical devices, programming of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and factory acceptance testing. In addition, KVB-Enertec's staff of field engineers provides on-site installation, startup, calibration and training. KVB-Enertec is the second largest DAS supplier in the CEM marketplace. Contracts received range from $10,000 to $1,000,000.When the growth in the CEM market leveled off, KVB-Enertec increased its efforts in another growth market. KVB-Enertec discovered opportunities in substation automation and integration marketplace which were compatible with its technical skill set. The customers which would purchase our services in the "power automation" marketplace would, in most cases, be the same customers who were already purchasing our products and/or services in the CEM market, mainly Electric utilities and large industrial facilities. Since late 1995, KVB-Enertec has contracted with several large electric utilities, industrial facilities and switchgear manufacturers providing engineering and software programming services. KVB-Enertec has quickly achieved recognition as a technically competent and responsive integrator who is often called upon as a solution provider.
