By combining the transactional, financial and business experience of KV’s professional staff with our local presence and established capital raising network we are bringing KV’s successful formula to private equity with our inaugural fund - KV Private Equity Fund. Headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, KV Capital has enjoyed rapid growth over the last 10 years from a startup venture to operations that included managing a $100M mortgage portfolio during 2015 and originating, underwriting and funding over $300M in private mortgage financing since inception. In respect of its capital raising, portfolio management, and investment fund management activities KV Capital is registered with the Alberta Securities Commission, the British Columbia Securities Commission and the Ontario Securities Commission. About KV Mortgage Fund KV Mortgage Fund was established in 2009 to provide investors and discretionary money managers access to KV Capital’s mortgages through a pooled investment vehicle. KV Mortgage Fund is fully managed by KV Capital, has independent governance and a portfolio that exceeded $70M during 2015. About KV Private Equity Fund The mandate of KV Private Equity Fund (the “Fund”) includes completing $50M of equity investments in lower mid-market, Western Canada based businesses. The Fund is sponsored by KV Private Equity Inc. and by its directors Nizar Somji and Harry Kipnes, whom are each independent of KV.
