EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG – our name indicates where our roots lie and what we are dedicated to. More than a century has passed since our precursor companies began to bring electricity, and with it industry and growth, to Baden-Württemberg. Today we rank among the largest energy supply companies in Germany and in Europe. With a workforce of around 20,000 employees, we supply electricity, gas, water and energy-related products and services to 5.5 million customers.

Wien Energie is the largest regional energy provider in Austria and a subsidiary of the municipal utility company Wiener Stadtwerke. We reliably supply two million people with environmentally friendly power, cooling, heating, electromobility and telecommunications. In order to promote climate protection, we will be investing heavily in expanding the use of renewables such as solar, wind and hydro power as well as electromobility. We are actively shaping the future of energy through innovation and research. With a turnover of EUR 1,948.1 million and an average of 2,167 employees (2020), Wien Energie can be counted among Austria’s top 30 companies in terms of turnover. VERBUND is Austria's leading utility and one of the largest producers of hydroelectricity in Europe. We generate appx. 95 % of our electricity from renewable energy, primarily from hydropower. VERBUND trades electricity in 12 countries and generated € 2.8 bn in annual revenue in 2018 with approximately 2,700 employees. Together with our subsidiaries and partners, we are active in the generation of electricity, in transmission and in international trading and sales.
