Located in Slidell, Louisiana, the Krewe of Selene was established in 1998 by a group of local professional women. It was and still is, the only night rolling parade in Slidell. We rode our charter year with a membership of 260 women and stand strong todaywith almost 500 members. Our club is well known for it's generosity as we roll through the streets of Slidell on the Friday night before Mardi Gras.
