Kredsløb Information

Kredsløb is an utility company with around 500 employees who work with contributing to the green transition and supporting our customers and partners in doing the same every day. RECYCLING AND WASTE We handle waste from 182,000 households in the Aarhus area and run the city’s recycling centres. DISTRICT HEATING AND ENERGY With a district heating network with more than 2,700 km, we are delivering heat and hot water to approx. 90% of all residents in our supply area – focusing on making district heating even more green. At Kredsløb Power Plant Lisbjerg and Kredsløb Power Plant Skanderborg, we utilise waste to make electricity and district heating. Besides, we make heat of straw, chipped bark, sea water, surplus heat, and soon also geothermal energy. Kredsløb is owned by the municipality of Aarhus with a yearly turnover of DKK 2.1 billion.
