Krafted Ink Information

Krafted Ink is a premium African-print packaging and design studio based in Harare, Zimbabwe. We manufacture handcrafted gift packaging, stationery, and custom branded packaging using Chitenge and African wax-print textiles — serving corporates, luxury hospitality, government institutions, and international organisations across Zimbabwe and beyond. Founded in 2017 by Gladys Chibanda, Krafted Ink was built on a simple but powerful conviction: that the African tradition of gifting — rooted in Ubuntu, the philosophy of shared humanity — deserves products worthy of its meaning. What began as a handcrafted gift bag studio has evolved into a fully integrated packaging and design enterprise, combining physical manufacturing with graphic design and brand identity services. Our clients choose us not from charitable intent, but because our products deliver a quality of design, cultural distinctiveness, and craft finish that no generic packaging supplier can match. We have served some of Zimbabwe's most prominent organisations including Hyatt Regency Harare, Rainbow Towers Hotel, Old Mutual Zimbabwe, the National Gallery of Zimbabwe, the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Geneva, various embassies, universities, and parastatals. With over 32,000 units sold and a customer retention rate exceeding 80%, Krafted Ink has demonstrated consistent commercial demand across B2B corporate gifting, institutional procurement, boutique retail, and international markets including South Africa and the United States. Our vision is Pan-African: to establish a design and production studio in every African country, adopting each nation's national fabric and translating it into premium packaging that resonates with local culture while meeting international standards. 📍 Harare, Zimbabwe 🌐 www.kraftedink.africa 📩 sales@kraftedink.africa 📞 +263 778 075 051
