Company Overview Kraft & Jute is hand crafted packaging to use both professionally and personally. Description Kraft & Jute is a cousin-owned business that began in 2009 when Jessica needed simple yet beautiful personalized packaging for her photography business. She created a simple CD sleeve out of kraft paper, using a sewing machine to stitch up the sides. After sales on Etsy started to boom, Jessica approached her cousin and business professor Melisa to help her figure out what to do next! Melisa quickly saw the potential of other product lines and helped form a solid business model so Kraft & Jute could grow and meet the needs of its customers. Kraft & Jute believes in supporting our local economy and purchases most of their raw paper materials through a local vendor.
