KR Precision Information

KR Precision is a public company, listed on the stock exchange of Thailand. The stock is supported by investments from both foreign and local institutions. KR Precision Public Company Limited was founded in July 1988 as a joint venture between Kyosei Company Limited of Tokyo, Japan and Raimon Company Limited, a Thai investment holding company. Since the commencement of operations in 1989, KR Precision has received promotional privileges from the government's Board of Investment to manufacture suspension assemblies for disk drives and to produce other precision metal parts by chemical milling, and tool & die fabrication, which were later added to the company's scope of operations. The company's production facilities are located 63 kilometers to the north of Bangkok at Wangnoi in Ayutthaya province. With a current floor space of over 28,000 square meters, in two locations, KR Precision's factory provides employment for some 1,800 workers. Production technology is state-of-the-art and includes advanced photo-etching facilities, laser welding, precision stamping and forming, and a variety of high-tech automation. Current production capacity of suspension assemblies- the principal product - stands at 12 million pieces per month. As one of only two manufacturers worldwide to be vertically integrated with internal photo etching and tool and die facilities, KR Precision has attained an 8% share of the world market. This market is expected to continue to grow as the worldwide trend towards miniaturization and high-performance precision products continues.
