KPVU-TV Information

Broadcast from the television studio in the historic Hilliard Hall, the mission of KPVU-TV is to offer mass communication majors with the lab experience of producing television and film content in preparation for careers in the entertainment and journalism industries. In Fall 2018, PVAMU TV launched with five television programs, broadcast publicly via YouTube. Now operating under the name, "KPVU-TV", our students continue to produce content and are honored to serve as the voice of the student-body, here on the campus Prairie View. Many students serve in industry comparable roles such as Producers, Directors, and other jobs, giving them the experience they will need to be competitive in the workforce when they graduate. KPVU-TV provides round the clock broadcasting of information based programming, live campus events and creative content such as short films, web series and documentaries. Contact Us!
