KoPolo, coming from the famous traveler Marko Polo (k for the original Italian spelling) aims to bridge the gap between you, and exploring the world around you. Utilizing the latest in geo-location, natural language processing, text analytics & machine learning, we bring the adventure to you. Whether it be discovering a new restaurant in your hometown, or planning a complete vacation from flights, lodging, attractions, and more - our platform is an all-in-one stop for your exploration needs. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, the tourism industry was the first to fall. Three former employees of a local San Francisco tour company laid off due to the pandemic united with an idea started KoPolo, Inc. - aiming to revolutionize the travel industry as we know it. As time progressed they realized that KoPolo could be more than just an app, but rather a community to help build and learn. Currently KoPolo is being used on-going educational project for Code Tenderloin students, returning citizens and beginners in coding to advance their skills so that they will be able to find a better life in the tech industry.
