Kopitiam Conversations Information

Kopitiam Conversations (KC) is a podcast which discusses diverse topics such as work, life, music, art and culture, day-to-day challenges, and everything it takes to stay sane within the daily twenty-four hour cycles. KC was established in 2021, and was born out of the passion and the necessity to bring some inspiration into the lives of everyday Malaysians during the extended lockdown caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The podcast is the brainchild of Winston Lim, an academician from the marketing communications discipline, who felt that storytelling--an undervalued art in inspiring others in today’s get-go world--should be a platform to connect and provide the daily dose of hope for the average and not-so-average Malaysian. We talk to the “everyday people” and celebrate with them their everyday victories. KC wants to assure that it doesn’t have to be perfect all the time, to give us a reason to wake up every morning, and that we can revel in the small daily wins to fuel us for better things. Every episode will feature a guest from various walks of life and profession.
