KoKom - National Centre on Emergency Communication in Health Information

ENGLISH: KoKom is an acronym for National Centre on Emergency Communication in Health. KoKom is a national knowledge centre located in Bergen, Norway. The objective of the centre is to act as an advisor to the government, both centrally and locally (counties and municipalities) on the running of dispatch centres in the health care services. NORWEGIAN: Kokom er et akronym for Nasjonalt kompetansesenter for helsetjenestens kommunikasjonsberedskap. KoKom er et nasjonalt kompetansesenter, lokalisert i Bergen. Senterets hovedoppgave er å fungere som rådgiver for myndighetene, både sentrale og lokale (fylker og kommuner), for hvordan å drive medisinsk nødmeldetjeneste.
