Uniting NSW.ACT contributes to the work of the Uniting Church in NSW and the ACT, through social justice advocacy, community services and spiritual care. We provide services for people through all ages and stages of life, and drive solutions to systemic issues so people experiencing disadvantage can live their best lives. Supporting thousands of people with complex intellectual, physical and multiple disabilities, we operate across Victoria and New South Wales through more than 425 service locations and support more than 5,600 people. Our great team of people includes specialists in communication and positive behaviour support, dedicated to working in partnership with clients, carers and families. Along with delivering high-quality services and employment opportunities for people with a disability, Scope is active in research, which helps us deliver positive outcomes. Our story started in 1952 when a small group of parents in Geelong dreamed of a world for their children where disability would not stand in the way of their opportunities and potential. Today, we have more than 3600 staff and volunteers providing support and services across Australia nationally.
