KMA Textiles Ltd is part of the KMA group of companies with its own unique positioning within its niche markets in the UK, Ireland and North America. Established in 2008 by Phil Melling, the company has grown rapidly in line with its key accounts across a variety of sectors. In 2013 the company became accredited to ISO9001:2008, UKAS approved, allowing it to tender for government contracts. KMA specialises in supplying technical textile products including design, production and logistics across a variety of sectors including Aviation, Instrumentation, Safety, Defence, Healthcare and Offshore, amongst others. Contract types include: development and prototyping; contract manufacturing; testing of textiles and sub-structures: through life management programmes; high-volume or low-volume production and tailored logistics and service packages. Over the last year, the company has extended its capability to include moulded plastic and welded steel products. The company operates from modern offices situated in the Royal Borough of Maidenhead and Windsor, with warehouse facilities for logistic services close to Heathrow airport.
