KLOQ Information

As a son of a watchmaker, designer Arjan Ros has always been around timepieces from a young age. Inspired by Wes Anderson's movie Moonrise Kingdom he took a clock from his father's warehouse to his workshop. After stripping it and putting on some yellow paint, the first KLOQ was born. The KLOQ is inspired by this old clock. Handmade from layered birchwood and assembled and painted by hand in The Netherlands. A KLOQ is a colorful expression of minimalism with a nostalgic touch and adds a homely feeling to any interior. A KLOQ fits well in the tradition of Dutch Design: It’s an innovative, cheeky and colorful product. A traditional wall clock pulled down to the essence and presented in a classic, minimal shape. Added: A splash of color. It has 3 basic colors and a natural birchwood version. With the dials and pendulum in 5 colors you can create a lot of variations.
