Based in Singapore, Klimacap is the Digital Platform for Climate Financing. We are building a strategic “long” position on the carbon markets by mobilising financing for carbon projects and establishing a robust ecosystem. Efforts to cut greenhouse gas emissions via operational, technological and supply chain changes are crucial but likely not adequate for Net Zero. Thus, carbon offsets are essential. Given financing is one of the biggest bottlenecks for carbon projects, our mission is to mobilise financing to carbon projects, starting from feasibility study to offset issuance, typically one to three years away from issuance. Anchored on a depth-focused approach, we work closely with a curated set of carbon project developers via a detailed and hands-on work.
