Beside trading in cables and wires for the energy industry Faber-Group offers innovative system solutions in the fields of infrastructure, cranes & hoists business, telecommunication/data lines and maritime cable logistics. The focus here is on customised systems for the cranes & hoists business, a wide range of fibre optic cables and components for broadband expansion, suitable solutions for cloud & data centres and 5G network development as well as infrastructure solutions involving renewable energies from the group subsidiary Faber Infrastructure GmbH. Friesland Kabel GmbH, which has been part of Faber-Group since the end of 2018, markets marine cables and customised systems for the maritime sector. In 2020, Klaus Faber AG achieved a turnover of € 324m. The number of employees at five locations in Germany – Saarland, Baden-Württemberg Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania – already exceeds 300 at this point in time, 146 of them in Saarbrücken, and looks set to increase.
