In 1992, Kitsap Opera was founded by Leone Cottrell-Adkins, who felt that communities and families needed more accessible options for operatic performances. Kitsap Opera has been producing operas and providing local musical artists with performance opportunities ever since. MISSION • Showcase the art form in Kitsap communities while partnering with other local performing arts organizations • Provide outreach to local schools and other educational institutions • Engage local and emerging artists in the Puget Sound region
