COSTI is a community-based not-for-profit organization that has supported newcomers and diverse communities across the Greater Toronto Area since 1952. We provide settlement, employment, education and social services that help individuals overcome barriers, build skills and take meaningful steps toward a successful life in Canada. With 19 locations and a team that speaks more than 60 languages, we offer culturally responsive, client-focused support tailored to the needs of each person we serve. Our services include career development, language training, housing support, mental health services, and specialized programs for seniors, families and women. At our core, COSTI is more than a service provider—we are a community. We believe that when people feel supported, they thrive. And when individuals thrive, so do our communities.

MOSAIC is a registered charity serving immigrant, refugee, migrant and mainstream communities in Greater Vancouver and the Fraser Valley as well as throughout the province of BC and overseas via online programs. Supported by a board of directors, the organization manages a $20 million plus budget annually with more than 350 staff and 660 volunteers. Services are delivered from 31 client-accessible sites and include: - Settlement assistance - English language training - Employment programs - Interpretation & translation - Counselling services - Community outreach for families and individuals, including children, youth and seniors MOSAIC also offers services for the LGBTQ and migrant worker communities. MOSAIC is one of the largest settlement organizations in Canada. Provincially, MOSAIC provides more employment supports and programs than any other immigrant-serving organization in B.C. Our expertise in employment services resulted in MOSAIC being the only immigrant-serving organization to be awarded a contract to deliver services through the B.C. Government’s Employment Program of B.C.

The Centre for Newcomers is a key not-for-profit resource centre for Calgary’s immigrants and refugees of all nationalities to receive settlement and integration services and information. Founded in 1988, the Centre provides training programs and collaborative support services to promote full integration, cultural diversity, community participation, and citizenship, for more than 10,000 newcomers each year. At the Centre for Newcomers we imagine a community that values diversity, in which people of all backgrounds find and create opportunities to fulfil dreams and participate fully as citizens. Our Mission is to support both newcomers and the receiving community in becoming a diverse, united community, through services and initiatives that create conditions of success for newcomers and that foster a welcoming environment in Calgary. We view the integration of newcomers as a two-way process of experience, influence and impact between newcomers and the communities that welcome them.
